“Oh pfttt. I trust you.” Jack smiled before standing up again. “I’m sure it’ll be fine~” He chimed before hovering into the air, floating next to the brunette. “So let’s get going! The faster we leave, the faster you get warm and the faster I get food!”
Hiccup actually laughed a little at that, though he quickly composed himself. “Yeah, yeah, I’m walking, I’m walking.” He started walking, since he was never a fan of flying without a dragon. Except for maybe with his cyclones, but he was giving them the day off today.
Jack smiled as he floated alongside the autumn spirit. Everything was so at peace now… and it was… nice. It really was quite the achievement to get the other to open up to him this much… “So. I’ve been meaning to ask.” He began. “What the heck does one such as your autumny self do the rest of the year…? Do you just… stay at home and sit around until it’s your turn to have the spotlight or…”
“…Pretty much, actually.” He shrugged a tiny bit, not looking over to him, “I cook, I design, I clean, and I watch the world from the hole in my tree…” Wow, when he said that out loud, he sounded pretty pathetic. Three quarters of the year, he was like an unemployed housewife. Damn it, Jack was right.
